My Story:

I’ve lived in Dallas for over a decade now, but am still considered a Yankee. Three generations from now my family may finally be able to claim being Texans.

I grew up in Virginia, where I still consider myself to be from despite moving to Illinois just before starting high school. My journey to Dallas began the week after I graduated from college-- where I was a proud Saluki.

The Texas summers are great, but I do miss those real winters. Fortunately I'm still able to enjoy a part of them when I go back home to Virginia (again).

I've made great friends and roots here in Dallas and am lucky to have the best of both my favorite worlds.
