My Story:

I hail from the jungles of Costa Rica and the steamy islands of the Caribbean. I grew up with a pet monkey and listening to fantastical stories. I arrived in the Bronx when I was 12, and absorbed a heavy dose of comic books, rock music, hip-hop, breakdancing, graffiti, MTV and sci-fi movies. I continued my life education in the far away lands of the midwest — Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. However, New York City was always my home, so after a stint in University, I came back to 'the city' and never looked back.
