    The Future of Design

Many of you may have already heard of LeapMotion (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_d6KuiuteIA), a software designed to free computer users from the traditional mouse and keyboard and let them use their hands to phyically manipulate 3D space for design, development, even creating music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9EyDes62sc)... Think Xbox Kinect on steroids.

Well, Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, has adapted the CAD technology to help them design, improve, and troubleshoot their rockets in a simpler way. Check it out here:

I'm curious to know how many of our designers would rather

    A) use this technology to design in 2D or 3D,

    B) stay with the traditional Wacom track pad, or

    C) use a fluid combination of both.

Either way, this technology is pretty incredible.

Red Car, Breed rock AICP Southwest award show Sponsor Reel

Red Car, a great editorial company we use for many of our video/audio needs, was asked to do the intro sponsor reel for the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP southwest division) award show.

The AICP award show honors "The Art and Technique of the American Commerical" featuring the best work produced over the past year.

Red Car worked with Breed Music to create the original music and sound design featured in the video. Breed is based here in Dallas and is another great company to work with. Both companies have worked on a number of TracyLocke's accounts over the years and always do a great job.

It's a pretty high honor to be asked to do the sponsor reel so I wanted to let you all see a sample what kind of work these companies are capable of.

Check out the sponsor reel here:

Some of them are hilarious and some of them are downright incredible. I hope you take to the time to watch a few.

    Enjoy.
